Design & Planning Process

Buckley Loft Conversions surveyor visited this client on various occasions to discuss their expectations and ideas of what they wanted to achieve with their loft conversion, in their beautiful West Midlands family home. When it came to the planning side of things a property history search was conducted by our administrators with the local council to determine whether planning permission was required for the proposed dormer, this particular project did not require planning permission as the proposed conversion fell under the properties “permitted development rights” all projects will require applications from building control. for more information on planning please visit our planning & construction page here. Buckley’s got to work on creating a dormer for the rear of the property to gain the appropriate head height and also allowing lots of natural light into their new bedroom and En-suite of the loft conversion.
